Job summary

TEKsystems Raleigh is seeking a seasoned product leader to own AI-driven competitive benchmarking product strategy and roadmap. You will guide data extraction, knowledge graphs, and conversational search experiences, leveraging embeddings and APIs to deliver measurable outcomes.

Collaborating with data science and engineering, you will define data requirements, evaluation frameworks, and go-to-market messaging, while ensuring adoption and data freshness in a hybrid Raleigh environment.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years leading AI/ML, NLP, search, or knowledge graph products.
• Strong commercial mindset with experience communicating product value and business outcomes to stakeholders and customers.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive execution, and deliver impactful products.
• Hands-on familiarity with LLMs, embeddings, NLP, retrieval/search technologies, and agentic AI workflows.
• Experience managing quarterly planning cycles and metric-driven product development.
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for executive, customer-facing, and cross-functional audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative leadership style.
• Experience working with professional services, financial services, competitive intelligence, market research, or related domains.

What You'll Do

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for an AI-driven, NLP-based competitive benchmarking product, including quarterly planning cycles, OKRs, and outcome-focused metrics.

• Lead data extraction and knowledge graph initiatives by transforming company, people, event, and open-web data into structured, LLM-ready datasets.

• Deliver a conversational search experience leveraging embeddings and Boolean search capabilities; continually enhance competitive benchmarking workflows and insights.

• Build SaaS-based AI capabilities using modern architectures and integrations through APIs and connectors.

• Translate complex technical concepts such as NLP, embeddings, knowledge graphs, LLM orchestration, and agentic workflows into clear customer value propositions and go‑to‑market messaging.

• Partner closely with data science and engineering teams to define data requirements, evaluation frameworks, and AI model strategies.

• Conduct discovery and validation with business users, including financial and professional services audiences, to identify competitive intelligence needs and opportunities.

• Drive execution across engineering, data, design, and go‑to‑market teams; remove blockers and ensure measurable outcomes.

• Support customer-facing conversations and collaborate with sales and customer success teams to communicate product value.

Key Outcomes (First 90 Days)

• Ingest and normalize customer and market documents into the data pipeline, generating derivative datasets and foundational knowledge graph assets.

• Enhance data freshness and coverage by augmenting traditional data sources with automated extraction and AI-based enrichment processes.

• Launch an initial conversational search experience utilizing embeddings and Boolean search capabilities.

• Establish a scalable AI model strategy, including evaluation criteria and decision frameworks for future model selection.

• Define product metrics and quarterly planning processes focused on adoption, answer quality, time‑to‑insight, data freshness, search effectiveness, and cost‑performance optimization.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
