Role Summary: Cinemark is seeking a customer-obsessed and data-driven Senior Product Manager to help shape the future of our digital experience across Cinemark.com and our mobile applications. In this role, you will own key customer journeys related to digital content, ticket purchasing, and the broader purchase experience, helping millions of moviegoers discover movies, make informed decisions, and seamlessly purchase tickets and concessions. As a Senior Product Manager, you will partner closely with engineering, UX, analytics, marketing, operations, and additional business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define product strategy, and deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes. You will balance discovery and execution, leveraging customer insights, experimentation, and data to continuously improve the guest experience while contributing to Cinemark's digital growth objectives. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, is passionate about solving customer problems, has demonstrated success in launching initiatives large and small, and combines strategic thinking with strong execution skills to drive impact in a fast-paced environment.

Scope Outcome ownership:

Defines the outcomes the product must achieve and maintains accountability for adoption, growth, customer value, and business value.

Strategic direction:

Establishes where the product is going, why it matters, and how the specific product area / ongoing projects support company priorities.

Continuous discovery:

Maintains contact with customers and stakeholders to validate problems, assumptions, and opportunities before and during delivery.

Cross-functional leadership:

Provides alignment, context, clarity, and decision velocity across Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Operations, and business partners.

Execution ownership:

Ensures successful product launches by owning the full end-to-end product lifecycle, from getting details right in requirements gathering to being hands-on during development / testing to owning launch readiness.

Responsibilities
Product Vision, Strategy, and Prioritization

Builds and maintains the product vision and strategy for the assigned business or customer area. Identifies customer, business, operational, and technology-enabled opportunities. Translates company goals into measurable product outcomes and actionable roadmaps.

Customer and Business Discovery

Leads continuous discovery through business partners collaboration and customer observation, research, data, and feedback analysis. Defines customer and business problems using firsthand evidence rather than relying only on submitted requests. Validates value, usability, feasibility, and viability risks before significant development investment is made. Partners with Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Operations, and business stakeholders to test assumptions and shape viable options. Uses experiments, prototypes, pilots, and other learning methods to reduce uncertainty and avoid unnecessary development. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Cinemark's business, customers, industry trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities, inform product strategy, and ensure priorities deliver meaningful customer and business value.

Prioritization and Roadmap Management

Aligns, owns, and prioritizes the product backlog and roadmap for your domain, ensuring alignment to company goals and measurable business and customer outcomes. Makes informed tradeoffs by balancing customer needs, business needs, technical reality, strategic priorities, risk, and expected value. Ensures that every request does not automatically become a roadmap commitment. Maintains transparency regarding priorities, decisions, assumptions, dependencies, and changes in direction.

Product Leadership and Delivery Partnership

Create clear and effective product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and supporting documentation. Acts as the product leader within the product-engineering-design partnership, providing alignment, context, clarity, and decision velocity. Guides design direction with an end-user and customer mindset. Partners with Product peers to connect roadmap outcomes to executable team backlogs while preserving clear accountability for strategy and delivery. Supports timely decisions during delivery when evidence, scope, risk, or constraints require a tradeoff.

Measurement and Product Performance

Defines measurable outcomes and success indicators before prioritization and delivery decisions are finalized. Monitors behavioral analytics, adoption metrics, funnel performance, retention, operational measures, customer feedback, and experiment results to inform product direction. Evaluates whether launched capabilities achieved the intended customer and business results. Drives iteration, optimization, or a change in direction when results do not meet expectations. Communicates product performance, insight, decisions, and recommended next steps to leadership and stakeholders.

Business Partnership and Communications

Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional partners to align priorities, communicate progress, and drive shared ownership of outcomes. Influence decisions and gain alignment across multiple stakeholder groups without direct authority. Serve as a trusted advisor on digital commerce experiences, customer behavior, and product best practices. Champion agile product management principles, customer-centric thinking, and continuous improvement across the organization.

What Success Looks Like

Improves measurable customer and business outcomes across the digital purchase experience. Brings customer insights and analytics into product decisions. Proactively identifies problems and opportunities rather than simply managing requirements. Builds strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, UX, Analytics, and business teams. Creates clarity from ambiguity and consistently delivers impactful product outcomes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 6+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, digital product leadership, or an equivalent role in a software or technology-enabled environment. 4+ years managing digital products, including websites, mobile applications, or other eCommerce experiences. Demonstrated experience creating product strategy, defining measurable outcomes, and translating strategy into prioritized roadmaps. Demonstrated experience conducting customer or stakeholder discovery and using evidence to validate problems, assumptions, and opportunities. Strong business judgment and ability to make prioritization and investment tradeoffs with incomplete information. Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to assess customer behavior, product performance, adoption, and business impact. Strong facilitation, communication, and executive-level storytelling skills. Experience leading cross-functional partnerships across Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Operations, and business stakeholders. Strong experience working in Agile product development and using modern software delivery practices. General understanding of modern application architecture and technology infrastructure concepts. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

Experience with consumer-focused digital products in retail, entertainment, hospitality, travel, and/or ticketing industries. Experience with customer loyalty programs and personalization platforms. Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and technologies to improve product effectiveness and team productivity is preferred. Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation platforms, customer journey mapping, and product analytics tools.
