Job summary

Solstice Advanced Materials is seeking a Product Management Specialist to advance HF and BF3 catalyst portfolios. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, balance commercial goals with safety and regulatory requirements, and own the lifecycle from new material creation to SKU rationalization and documentation.

The role includes supporting S&OP cycles, portfolio performance analysis, and development of technical data sheets and training materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of strong program or project management experience; suitable for candidates transitioning into product management.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute strategic product line initiatives to support portfolio growth and optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, quality, production, supply chain, and customer support on strategic initiatives to meet OKRs.
  • Manage and deliver on initiatives by facilitating communication and alignment to ensure successful project execution.
  • Track progress of key initiatives and ensure alignment across cross‑functional teams.
  • Conduct portfolio hierarchy and lead‑time reviews to ensure clear product positioning.
  • Support SKU rationalization using 80/20 principles to improve efficiency.
  • Analyze product portfolio performance and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams during S&OP cycles to align and unify business goals.
  • Balance product demand against available inventory by providing accurate data into production and inventory planning.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to systematically analyze, diagnose and implement corrective measures for customer, quality, and/or supply issues.
  • Tracks materials or products that fail to meet specified quality standards.
  • Support operational tasks such as SAP SKU setup and maintenance.

Job Description

The Product Management Specialist plays a key role in advancing Solstice's Hydrofluoric Acid (HF) and BF3 Catalyst portfolio by coordinating cross‑functional teams to successfully deliver strategic initiatives. In this role, the recruit will act as the central business owner, balancing commercial goals with strict safety and regulatory frameworks. This role supports product lifecycle management, including new material creation, product compliance, portfolio hierarchy review, and SKU rationalization. Additionally, the role involves analyzing product portfolio performance, gathering and synthesizing customer feedback, and supporting the development of product communication materials such as technical data sheets and training resources.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic initiative execution

  • Execute strategic product line initiatives to support portfolio growth and optimization
    • Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, quality, production, supply chain, and customer support on strategic initiatives to meet OKRs
    • Manage and deliver on initiatives by facilitating communication and alignment to ensure successful project execution
    • Track progress of key initiatives and ensure alignment across cross‑functional teams
    • Conduct portfolio hierarchy and lead‑time reviews to ensure clear product positioning
    • Support SKU rationalization using 80/20 principles to improve efficiency

Portfolio Management
Operational and Product Support
  • Partner with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams during Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycles to align and unify business goals
  • Balance product demand against available inventory by providing accurate data into production and inventory planning
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to systematically analyze, diagnose and implement corrective measures for customer, quality, and/or supply issues
  • tracks materials or products that fail to meet specified quality standards
  • Support operational tasks such as SAP SKU setup and maintenance
    • Ensure product documentation (e.g., TDS, SDS, compliance) with internal and external requirements
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of strong program or project management experience; suitable for candidates transitioning into product management
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast‑paced environment

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this position is $113,818K - $142,272K. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities or the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
