We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Designer II to be a key driver in designing intuitive, performant, and best-in-class user experiences for our trading and trading operations platform. We're seeking an individual who is highly collaborative and excels in working in partnership with design, product, and engineering teams worldwide. You will be adept at leveraging data and your deep financial experience to inform your design decisions. You excel at diving into the details and untangling complex edge cases while maintaining a clear strategic vision. This role requires a pragmatic approach, understanding when to be strategic and when to execute with agility in the context of building an early-stage product within a mature platform.

Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.

The current range for this role is $138,000 - $215,000 (Base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits.

  • Collaborate effectively with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and high-quality implementation.
  • Contribute to the expansion, evolution, and adoption of the Addepar Product Language design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across our products.
  • Actively seek out and embrace feedback from peers and cross-functional partners. Provide constructive feedback, empower, and mentor other designers to foster growth and design excellence within the team.
Who You Are
  • Deep understanding of portfolio management, client reporting, and compliance requirements within financial services, particularly within the front office context.
  • Significant experience designing software to assist advisors and/or portfolio managers in assessing portfolios and managing them against the firm’s recommended approach.
