Introduction

The Enterprise Procurement team at Mutual of Omaha comprises Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Management, and Purchasing. This role is part of the Strategic Sourcing team, which supports the enterprise in making optimal purchasing decisions through formal processes such as RFI, RFP, and contract renewals.

• Estimated Salary (Levels vary by responsibilities and qualifications):
  • Sourcing Specialist: $58,656-$73,000 plus annual bonus.
  • Sr. Sourcing Specialist: $66,500-$83,000 plus annual bonus.
• 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% match.

What You'll Do

• Support or lead strategic sourcing events with stakeholders and business partners, including research, spend data analytics, and RFx processes.
• Assist in developing category strategies using expense data.
• Create reports in Excel with advanced functions and prepare professional presentations in PowerPoint.
• Coordinate and report on procurement statistics and metrics monthly.
• Support procurement policies, process improvements, reporting, and training efforts.
