The Document Solutions team is seeking a Sr. Processor, Imaging to support high-volume document processing and records management operations. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining scanning equipment, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of departmental records, supporting records retention and destruction activities, and helping maintain efficient daily workflows. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable performing hands-on work, and able to balance quality, productivity, and operational support in a fast-paced environment.

Document Processing & Equipment Operations

• Operate and monitor high-volume scanning equipment to ensure accurate and timely document processing.
• Perform routine scanner maintenance, including scheduled cleaning and basic troubleshooting to minimize workflow disruptions.
• Monitor processing quality, discrepancies, and exceptions to ensure compliance with established standards.

Records Management & Operational Support

• Support records retention and destruction activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Organize, move, and palletize boxes of documents for storage, retrieval, or disposal.
• Assist with training and knowledge sharing as needed while supporting efficient day-to-day operations.

Job Description Key Responsibilities

• Receives, opens, sorts and processes incoming mail, checks and digital documents.
• Separates mail and other materials accordingly and reviews documents for quality.
• Preps and scans documents per established service level agreements.
• Determines appropriate label for documents.
• Researches documents where limited information is provided.
• Processes requests and retrieves historical documents.
• Responsible for document management including destruction or off-site storage, including scheduling of boxes, re-filing boxes, rotating documents/photos, etc.
• Communicates computer hardware or software malfunction to appropriate systems area (internally or vendor).
• May assist with training of new processors.
• May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reports to Supervisor.

Typical Skills and Experiences

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Two years of related work experience, with at least one year in an imaging role preferred.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills

• Knowledge of general office procedures.
• Prefer familiarity with imaging, internal documents and processes and/or customers.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to recognize different insurance and financial documents.
• Ability to efficiently operate office equipment, including personal computer, calculator, fax and copy machine.
• Ability maintain confidentiality, perform indexing and repetitive tasks with accuracy.
• Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Job Conditions

Overtime Eligibility: Eligible (Non Exempt).

Working Conditions: Production environment. Moderate noise level. Ability to twist, turn, bend, stoop and make repetitive motions with hands/wrists. Able to sit for extended periods of time. Able to consistently lift up to 35 lbs. and frequently lift, carry or push up to 80 pounds. Nationwide pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement within the actual starting salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment.
