Job summary

Sentara Health Plan seeks a senior Process Improvement Engineer (LSSGB) to lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives across our health plan operations. This remote role supports teams nationally, driving data-driven process improvements to elevate efficiency and patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in process improvement or healthcare management, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (highly preferred), and a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred). Health plan experience is highly valued.

Status: Full-time, permanent position (40 hours)

Work hours: 8am to 5pm EST, M-F

Overview

Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and optimizing operational processes within the organization to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity. Uses data-driven methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement tools to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall performance.
