Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Providing technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing area.
- Recommending and implementing equipment and process modifications to meet quality standards and improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and production yields for existing products.
- Integrating equipment and material capabilities to meet process module target specifications and technology target specifications.
- Reviewing product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules.
- Interacting with product design and development personnel to ensure compatibility of processes and designs.
- Developing and conducting statistical analysis or recommending additions to document work.
- Leading the innovation, development, and/or optimization of new manufacturing concepts, processes, and procedures for transfer to manufacturing operations.
- Developing manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and potentially developing those techniques including measurement systems.
- Ensuring processes and procedures comply with regulations.
