Job summary

onsemi is seeking a PSG Product Marketing Engineering Consultant to join the Power Solutions Group Marketing team. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, channel partners, and strategic customers to drive growth across the PSG portfolio.

The role focuses on defining technical strategy, creating collateral, and building strong relationships with design influencers and engineering organizations. Travel up to 15% is expected and the candidate should reside in North America.

Qualifications

• BSEE or related engineering degree with 8–10 years technical/industry experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication to present data to customers.
• Pro-active and self-motivated to support product family strategy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for internal/external partners.
• Willingness to travel domestically (up to 15%).
• Reside in North America.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical strategy and collateral for PSG portfolio.
• Build relationships with internal/external Design Influencers and Engineering teams.
• Develop sales tools including technical presentations, product videos, webinars and best practices.
• Create and communicate detailed, technical solution benefits with internal sales teams and channel partners.
• Provide targeted training and opportunity support across market segments and applications.
• Understand segment/application/customer requirements and deliver technical insights to Product Family stakeholders.
• Work closely with Sales and Business units on competitor analysis, product performance and market intelligence.

• Define and Drive the technical strategy and collateral required to increase awareness and adoption of the full PSG portfolio.
• Build strong cooperative relationships with the internal and external Design Influencers, Engineering organizations.
• Develop sales tools including technical presentations, product videos, webinars and best practices around product portfolio
• Create and communicate detailed, technical solution benefits with internal sales teams and channel partners.
• Provide targeted training and opportunity support across multiple market segments and applications.
• Understand segment/application/customer, system-level requirements and delivering technical insights to Product Family stakeholders.
• Work closely with Sales and Business units on competitor analysis, product performance and market intelligence.

Qualifications

• Have BSEE, related Engineering Discipline and 8-10years technical/industry experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to present data to all levels of a customer’s organization in a detailed and professional manner
• Proven track record of being pro-active and self-motivated to understand and support each product family strategy and value proposition.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport with Internal and External partners.
• Be willing and able to travel domestically (15%).
• Reside in North America
