About Digital Technology (DT):

What You Will Do:

• Manage and optimize server infrastructure in a heterogeneous information system.
• Provide IT systems administration in Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
• Supervise administrators handling account setup, system documentation, performance tuning, software installation, and storage allocation.
• Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training.
• Participate in Change Request reviews and lead technical meetings.
• Obtain DoD Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification (e.g., Security+) within 6 months.
• Support 24/7 system operations, with occasional after-hours work.
• Travel up to 10% domestically as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 5+ years.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Linux experience.
• Experience with technologies like Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, Veeam, AWS, MySQL, Remote Desktop Gateway, Netwrix, and enterprise backup/recovery suites.
• Experience mentoring or leading teams.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
• Active DoD TS clearance.
• Certifications such as Security+ and OS-specific certifications.
• Experience with classified information handling.
• Knowledge of patch management, HPC, OS upgrades, security, monitoring, and logging.
• Knowledge of SAN/NAS and virtualization solutions.
• Experience with deployment, maintenance, and upgrades across multiple sites.
• Experience managing IT support in a 24/7 environment.
• Experience with legacy systems like Solaris and older Windows/Red Hat versions.
