• Translates highly complex technical issues, trends, and approaches (including AI and agent-native architecture) to leadership, enabling well-informed strategic decisions about technology investment
• Drives adoption and implementation of technical methods in specialized fields and upholds the platform's quality standard across the enterprise
• Creates durable, reusable software frameworks that are leveraged across teams and functions, engineered to secure, resilient, observable, and agent-consumable by default

As a Senior Principal Software Engineer on a platform engineering team at a leading global financial institution, you provide deep engineering expertise across agile teams and consistently challenge the status quo. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Recognized technical authority on developer platforms, SDKs, or reusable frameworks adopted at enterprise scale
• Deep expertise in agent-native architecture, LLM tooling, and AI-assisted engineering
• Experience shaping multi-year technical strategy for a portfolio of products
