RTX is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer for the NASAMS program to deliver world-class Missile Defense software. You will work on interfaces, real-time multi-threaded code, and system integration with stakeholders across engineering teams.

The role emphasizes Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps practices to rapidly design, code, and integrate capabilities. A DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with C and/or C++ development.
• Experience with Linux, VxWorks and/or other Real-Time Operating Systems.

• Lab configuration and maintenance including maintaining configurations, monitoring status and updating software.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
