RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer to support Naval Radar programs at the Marlborough, MA facility. This onsite role requires active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, drive performance improvements, and collaborate with customers to ensure seamless system integration. You will travel up to 50% to support mission execution across RTX sites and customer locations, develop verification plans, analyze data, and contribute to hardware/software integration

What YouWill Do

In this Systems Engineer role, you will support the following types of activities:

• Drive Performance: Lead a team to collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues. Responsible for schedule execution of assigned program elements.
• Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 50%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
• Testing: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
• Troubleshoot and Analyze:Identifyand resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
• Modeling and Simulation:Utilizemodeling and simulation toolsto predict system performance and support verification and validation.
• Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
• Collaborate: Work with customers and multi-disciplinary internal teamsto achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
• Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verifyrequirementsand effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
• Data Analysis: Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensureoptimalsystem performance and verify requirements.
• Requirements Development: Decompose and track specifications throughout complex systems architectures
• Ability to obtain andmaintaina U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship isrequired, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• This role is onsite at our RTX facility in Marlborough,MA

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years of prior relevant experience.

• Experience integrating military systems in one or more of the following; software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, or systems test.

• Engineering leadership experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with sensor systems, especially RADAR

• Experience with Earned Value Management system tracking of team tasks

• Experience generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports.

• Experience within integration, validation or requirements verification.

• Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.

• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or other programming languages.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
