Job Description
The Oracle Global Business Unit (GBU) Generative AI team is responsible for leading Generative AI and Agent needs of business applications serving variety of markets including Finance, Hospitality, Construction and Engineering, Energy & Water etc. Our goal is to enable customers to apply AI to solve their business problems with Oracle's assistance and expertise in Generative AI. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work with teams of applied scientists and engineers to deliver high quality generative ai and agent features that delights our customers with the confidence that their data are safe and protected.
Your Opportunity
We are building a high-achieving Generative AI team to spearhead Generative AI and Agent use cases that support GBU business applications as well as GBU consulting. As the principal product manager, you will work closely with GBU development and consulting teams, strategic customers (internal and external), helping them develop Gen AI features and solutions for the business scenarios. You will partner closely with our engineering, product, research, and sales teams to help customers be successful using our products. You will also identify gaps in our portfolio and quickly address them by collaborating with team members across GBU and Oracle to ensure our customers get the best of Oracle's Generative AI capabilities in our applications.
We're looking for a person who will bring a passion for innovative products, strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with both customers and internal teams. You'll have the ability to be hands-on when needed, as well as be adept at influencing multiple stakeholders without direct authority to get things done efficiently. Most importantly - we believe in a people-first approach. Your Responsibilities
- Work directly with GBU product and development teams, consulting team and key customers and, accompany them on their AI journey - understanding their requirements, help them envision and design the right solutions. You will work together with their business, data, engineering and data science teams to remove blockers and translate feedback into actionable items.
- Be an Oracle Generative AI product specialist - engage directly with GBU development and consulting teams, customers and partners, evangelize and contribute with art of possible discussions on Gen AI and Agents, participate and present in external events and conferences, etc.
- Additional requirements: You are obsessed with the customer, always exceeding expectations. You understand the importance of high standards, never satisfied with mediocrity, and constantly striving for excellence both from yourself and your team. You are comfortable with ambiguity and have a strong sense of ownership to drive the development of new projects and features to completion. You are passionate about technology and are not afraid to defend your opinions with peers/superiors/customers/analysts.
Your Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience as a data science / engineering / product leader, bridging the gap between technical and business domains
- You'll have domain expertise in a few key industries and functions, and a growth mindset to stretch outside your comfort zone
- 5+ years of experience with machine learning / artificial intelligence / analytics and understanding of how to apply them to real world problems is required. Hands-on experience in developing and delivering data, machine learning and AI-driven solutions is desired.
- Customer focus and narrative building along with experience working alongside enterprise customers / developers on machine learning / artificial intelligence scenarios to accelerate product adoption and usage is required.
- Educational qualification in engineering or computer sciences or math or equivalent.
- You'll have experience in managing/developing/deploying enterprise grade Generative AI Solutions using language models and multimodel models.
- A proven and enthusiastic, high-energy, motivating cross functional leader who is visibly passionate and is capable of inspiring and galvanizing an organization
- A balance of strategic and tactical skills, with a high level of intellectual agility and capacity for original thought
- An exceptional communicator who can write, present and effectively adjust messages to meet individual audiences and organizations
- A proven ability to navigate and effectively collaborate with other departments and resources in large complex environments. Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Responsibilities
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $115,400 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

- Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
