Ideal candidates have 5–8+ years in manufacturing, Black Belt preferred, and hands-on experience with injection molding and sterilization. You will guide cross-functional teams and mentor staff while driving key site improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience in related field.
  • 5-8+ years of manufacturing experience with a strong focus on process improvement.
  • Familiarity with injection molding and sterilization processes is highly desirable.
  • Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt certification preferred).
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of leading and completing projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Travel expectations: <10%.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and execute continuous improvement projects across the manufacturing facility using Lean Six Sigma tools to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans; manage execution to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Develop and implement process improvements for injection molding and sterilization; optimize equipment settings and implement automation where applicable.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to measure impact and report findings to management.
  • Serve as a technical expert, providing engineering support from concept through implementation and preparing process flow diagrams.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
