Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking a Sr. Principal Engineering CAD Administrator to join the Configuration Management team. In this technical, hands‑on role, you will administer the Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) System, Siemens Teamcenter. You will work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Design Drafting departments to develop CAD standards, validate 3‑D models used to manufacture hardware, and be the subject‑matter expert on modeling techniques and standards. Our work is mission critical and directly contributes to national security.
The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of fundamental configuration management principles related to the control of 3‑D models. You will be responsible for ensuring that NX and CREO 3‑D models generated by Engineering (or Design Drafting) meet ASME standards. 3‑D models are used by Manufacturing to machine parts, and by Quality Engineering to inspect parts. You will work with Engineering and Drafting to adhere to current modeling standards, presented through formal in‑class training or training materials. Primary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 – $213,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions and to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for long‑term incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company‑paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
