Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Senior/Staff Configuration & Data Management Analyst to join our team in Palmdale, CA or Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves managing baseline product configurations and coordinating project documentation and engineering change processes.

The candidate should have DoD Secret clearance (with potential SAP access) and extensive experience in engineering documentation, change control, and collaboration across Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years experience, or Master's degree and 6+ years, or PhD and 4+ years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with a background investigation within the past 5 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP access via Program Access Request.

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration of Baseline products.
• Plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, including: engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, contract modifications.
• Review customer contracts to identify documentation requirements for each project phase.
• Apply knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes to ensure contract requirements are met.
• Analyze proposed product-design changes and assess their impact on the overall product and system.
• Coordinate and author modification records and documentation for management control.
• Establish change orders and prepare documentation for change authorization by the company and subcontractors.
• Review and analyze released engineering-change data.
• Coordinate engineering changes with Engineering, Quality, Support, Manufacturing.

Therefore, candidate must also be able to obtain and maintain upgraded SAP/PAR.Preferred Qualifications:Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.Active DoD Top Secret clearance with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation.Experience in reviewing contract documents to determine documentation delivery required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.Experience in planning and coordinating the preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.Experience in coordinating modification records to maintain baseline control.Experience with Jira/ ConfluenceExcellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.Experience in Technical PublicationExperience in Aircraft MaintenancePrimary Level Salary Range: $96,200.00 - $144,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
