Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree plus 8 years switching mode power supply design.
• Totem Pole PFC development skills.
• Battery Backup Unit design (Battery charger, High power and high density DC-DC converter).
• AC input 3 phase PFC development skill.
• High power Brick DC to DC converter development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-efficiency, high-power-density power supplies and DC-to-DC converters.
• Support the development and testing of power shelves, including functional and performance validation.
• Participate in design reviews during new product development to ensure designs meet performance, quality, and reliability requirements.
• Contribute to performance optimization and quality improvement efforts for existing power supply products.
• Review second-source technical data and test reports, and assist with the implementation and validation of second-source components.
• Assist with power supply system analysis, including investigation of RMA issues and implementation of corrective actions to improve product reliability.
• Participate in power supply bench test and system level qualifications test.

The ideal engineer will not just lead a team, but will be a hands-on, and shall have 5+ years ITE server power supply design experiences, cover PFC, flyback, LLC, phase shift, power sharing, OringFET applications in mass production with records. This individual will be required to work cross-department and assist product managers as needed in product design and development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Design and develop high-efficiency, high-power-density power supplies and DC-to-DC converters.
• Support the development and testing of power shelves, including functional and performance validation.
• Participate in design reviews during new product development to ensure designs meet performance, quality, and reliability requirements.
• Contribute to performance optimization and quality improvement efforts for existing power supply products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree plus 8 years switching mode power supply design. Best to have OCP ORV3 Power shelf or ORV3 PSU design skill. Job leveling may be adjusted based on years of relevance experience.

• Battery Backup Unit design skill (Battery charger, High power& High density DCDC convertor)
• AC input 3 phase PFC development skill
• High power Brick DC to DC converter development

Salary Range

$150,000 - $180,000
