Your Opportunity + Impact

The Sr. Designer will apply intermediate to advanced engineering, and/or landscape architecture principles to complete design computations, prepare written technical reports, design plans, and details. This role involves working independently with significant project decision-making authority, under minimal supervision, primarily using all required LDG software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proficient in CAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Microstation, InRoads, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, and related software to develop accurate, clean, and deliverable drawings.
  • Review work for accuracy, correct from red lines, and perform backchecks.
  • Write specifications, review submittals, and coordinate project submissions.
  • Coordinate the preparation of multi-discipline drawing sets, collaborating with technical and administrative staff.
  • Support quality assurance and control processes to improve deliverable quality and reduce errors & omissions.
  • Research and interpret design standards, regulations, codes, and permit requirements, applying them to projects.
  • Create standard details independently as directed.
  • Review shop drawings and contractor submissions.
  • Assist with design calculations, quantity take-offs, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
Education and Experience
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience.
  • No specific licensure required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong desire to expand knowledge and responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with mentoring abilities.
