Job description

The Sr. Plant Manager will help shape the future of our industrial success. This role is responsible for leading all aspects of site management and continuous improvement at the Worcester, MA, manufacturing location. The Sr. Plant Manager will develop and deliver on the plant’s operational goals and objectives, focusing on EHS, growth, profitability, capital investment, cost reduction, quality, and other operational objectives. This role requires the ability to develop a dynamic and engaged workforce, making meaningful contributions to our customers’ success. The Sr. Plant Manager will work across the commercial, R&D, and support organizations to realize shared achievements.

  • Lead safety and environmental initiatives to achieve and maintain world-class performance by fostering a culture that embraces safety and respect for the environment.
  • Provide direction for all departments to ensure policies and systems are efficient, effective, and aligned with business goals. Coordinate production flow and implement methods to increase product and service quality 2.
  • Lead technical teams, including Quality, Engineering, and Facilities, to develop systems that support plant reliability and production quality. Integrate World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Lean, or Six Sigma programs 3.
  • Develop an engaged site team that actively supports and drives accountability of our global values. Identify opportunities to build effective and responsible teams.
  • Manage site-level financial results and performance, ensuring expenses and budget responsibility are maintained. Lead “The Internal Control” with the local management team.
  • Develop and implement a long-term manufacturing plan and annual operating budget that supports the strategic plan of the business
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (required). Master’s Degree in Business or advanced Engineering degree (preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar function within an industrial and international environment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills in a Windows environment, including Excel, Access, and Microsoft Word
