Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a Brand Planning Sr Planner to drive core financial planning for assigned regions. You will own data, models, and reporting to support Open to Buy decisions and regional execution.

This role coordinates with Global Merchandising, Regional Planning, Sourcing, and leadership to deliver assortments, review performance, and manage financial targets pre-season. Strong advanced Excel and planning-system experience are required.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in retail or wholesale planning.
  • Experience building and maintaining OTB models.
  • Exposure to global or multi-region planning environments preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with planning systems such as JDA, Blue Yonder, or Oracle a strong plus.
  • Ability to build accurate and well-organized financial models and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Set and maintain total division financial targets pre-season (sales and margin).
  • Reconcile with Regional Planning, Merchandising, and leadership partners.
  • Establish mid-level plan targets including attribute goals, largest volume items, SKU count, and costing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to deliver assortment strategies.
  • Read and react to assortment performance with a robust learning agenda.
  • Manage brand fabric and trim liability and test financial models for leadership review.
  • Maintain financial data accuracy in planning systems and reporting outputs.
  • Create item data and manage inventory commitments.
  • Present financial data accessibly to merchants and regional planning audiences.
  • Identify and propose process improvements to leadership.
