Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, is seeking a qualified phlebotomist to collect blood samples from patients ranging from newborns to the elderly and to ensure accurate information transfer for inpatient and outpatient services.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, Florida Phlebotomy Certification, BLS, and at least two years of phlebotomy experience, with a commitment to professional, compassionate care and service excellence across busy hospital departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy National Certification recognized by the State of Florida required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Minimum of two years of phlebotomy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients of all ages in a professional, competent, and safe manner.
• Manage all equipment and samples related to blood collection and ensure accurate transfer of information for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Maintain professional, cooperative interaction with all hospital departments, medical staff, and the public in line with the hospital mission.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times. Perform other duties as assigned.
