Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our clinical staff. You will collect blood samples from patients of all ages, ensuring safety, accuracy and timely transport to the lab for analysis.

Required credentials include a High School diploma or GED, a Florida-recognized Phlebotomy Certification and BLS certification, with at least two years of phlebotomy experience. This role supports a busy hospital with comprehensive patient care and ongoing education

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Phlebotomy National Certification recognized by the State of Florida.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

Collect blood samples from patients across age groups safely and professionally.
Maintain accuracy and proper labeling of specimens for inpatient and outpatient services.
Ensure equipment and supplies are ready, functional and compliant with procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the department.

Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
