Job summary

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is seeking a Right-of-Way Regulatory Permit Agent in Texas. This remote role requires periodic travel to Houston and project locations, with a focus on obtaining timely regulatory permissions and coordinating with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ relative experience.
• Experience dealing with local government and state regulatory agencies.
• Knowledge of survey drawings, engineering drawings and alignments sheets.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensures permits are acquired correctly and promptly.
• Communicates with clients regarding agreement language, compensation, insurance, bonds, and long lead items.
• Collaborates with permit agents, survey crew, drill crew, and recording crew for efficiencies.
• Participates in permit project start-up meetings and ensures understanding of topics discussed.
• Completes all necessary paperwork.
• Research ownership for surface and/or minerals.
• Works with project managers, engineers, and surveyors to obtain calculations, pipeline specs, and exhibits.
• Supports surveying, drilling, and recording phases, ensuring permit stipulations are followed and addressing issues.

Position Description

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is currently hiring a Right-of-Way Regulatory Permit Agent in Texas. The individual we seek must be a self-starter who can perform the below tasks. This person must have experience dealing with local government agencies and state regulatory agencies. This position is remote but will require travel to Houston, TX and project locations.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

• Ensures that permits are acquired correctly and promptly
• Communicates directly with the client regarding agreement language, compensation, insurance requirements, bonds, and long lead items
• Collaborates and communicates with other permit agents, survey crew, drill crew, and recording crew to maximize efficiencies
• Participates in the permit project start-up meetings and ensure an absolute understanding of all topics discussed
• Completes all necessary paperwork
• Research ownership for surface and/or minerals
• Works directly with the project manager, project engineers, and surveyors to receive the necessary documents such as calculations, pipeline specifications, and exhibits
• Supports surveying, drilling, and recording phases, making sure permit stipulations are followed, and addressing problems as the issues arise
• Demonstrate excellent computer knowledge through effective use of software including Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and database use.
• Able to work well in a team environment or an individual role.
• Other duties as assigned or required

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5years’ relative experience.

Pay Rate:

• This position offers a competitive 6 day per week pay rate plus per diem for qualifying days.
• This position includes health, dental, and vision benefits.
