Job summary

Neos Consulting Group is seeking a Sr. PeopleSoft FSCM Developer for a long-term contract in Austin, TX. Onsite requirements include 2–3 days on site with candidate residing within 50 miles of Austin.

The role focuses on advanced development, production support, and upgrade assistance within a large enterprise PeopleSoft Financials environment. Prior CAPPS/State Texas experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

ONSITE – Austin, TX / 78681, Candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of the Austin area, position requires 2 – 3 days on site.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced PeopleSoft FSCM Developer with strong hands-on technical development expertise in PeopleSoft Financials.

The successful candidate will provide advanced development, technical support, troubleshooting, production support, and upgrade assistance within a large enterprise PeopleSoft Financials environment.

The primary focus of this position is strong PeopleSoft FSCM technical development experience . Previous CAPPS Financials, State of Texas, or Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) experience is highly desirable but preferred rather than required .

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical development and support for PeopleSoft FSCM / Financials applications .
• Design, develop, modify, test, troubleshoot, and maintain PeopleSoft Financials solutions.
• Analyze and resolve complex application and production issues.
• Develop and support customizations, interfaces, reports, batch processes, and integrations.
• Provide technical support across PeopleSoft Financials modules including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Purchasing
  • Asset Management
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Strategic Sourcing
  • Inventory
• Support PeopleSoft and PeopleTools upgrades and maintenance activities.
• Assist with upgrade planning, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation.
• Work closely with functional analysts, developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
• Support multiple PeopleSoft environments, including:
  • Production
  • Development
  • Acceptance Test
  • Sandbox
• Develop and execute technical support procedures.
• Troubleshoot performance and application issues and assist in maintaining stable, high-performing PeopleSoft environments.
• Provide technical documentation, cross-training, and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate multiple technical development and support efforts simultaneously.

Required Skills And Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft FSCM / Financials development experience.
• Strong experience with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 .
• Strong hands-on PeopleSoft development and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience developing and supporting solutions across multiple FSCM modules, preferably including:
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Payable
  • Purchasing
  • Asset Management
  • Accounts Receivable
• Strong experience with PeopleTools and current PeopleSoft development technologies.
• Experience with PeopleTools 8.62+ strongly preferred.
• Strong SQL and SQR development experience.
• Experience with PeopleSoft production support and issue resolution.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft/PeopleTools upgrades.
• Experience working across Development, Test and Production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and functional PeopleSoft teams.
• Strong documentation and knowledge-transfer skills.

Candidates with CAPPS or State of Texas experience will receive additional consideration , but we are open to experienced PeopleSoft Financials developers from other large enterprise environments who have the technical depth to quickly learn the CAPPS environment.
