Shift: M-F, 7:00 am-4:00 pm; flexibility as needed to include later hours or weekends

Role Description: The Sr. People Generalist, Fulfillment Operations is a hands-on role serving as the main People Team representative within designated ShipBob Fulfillment Centers, providing full HR support to employees, managers, and regional directors. You will work closely with business leaders to implement HR initiatives, focusing on organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, workforce planning, and compliance. This role reports to the Manager, People Operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the first contact for employee issues and investigations, partnering with People Team Leadership, HRBPs, and Legal as needed.
• Maintain accurate HR records, ensuring compliance through periodic audits.
• Train, coach, and counsel managers on HR matters.
• Partner with staffing agencies to ensure proper staffing levels.
• Participate in recruiting events and conduct interviews for hourly roles.
• Facilitate onboarding and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
• Conduct onboarding check-ins and support employee engagement initiatives.
• Support Employee Resource Groups and participate in culture-building activities.
• Coordinate employee retention efforts with the site General Manager.
• Manage employee offboarding processes and exit interviews.
• Track attendance, manage disciplinary actions, and participate in performance improvement plans.
• Communicate HR initiatives and support employee benefits programs.
• Present at town halls and monitor key people metrics.
• Administer employee satisfaction surveys and provide training resources.
• Partner with operations on workers' compensation and return-to-work processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, with 5+ years of HR experience.
• SHRM or SPHR certification.
• Knowledge of labor laws and statutes.
• Experience working in fulfillment centers, warehouses, or manufacturing.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed recommendations.
• Confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to travel as required.

Expected base salary range: $75,525 - $100,000. Additional bonus eligibility based on company performance.
