Job summary

Aquarius Staffing is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for US and Canadian groups from our Cincinnati area office.

The role covers timecard review, adjustments, benefit corrections, garnishments, and final pay processing while ensuring accuracy and compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Pref Highschool and 2–4 years of related field experience.
• GED and 2–4 years of related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver payroll for US and Canadian payroll groups.
• Review and process payroll adjustments for US and Canadian payrolls.
• Review and accept self-service changes for US and Canadian payrolls.
• Review comp/position changes for US and Canadian payrolls.
• Review timecards for US and Canadian payrolls and resolve issues with management.
• Process benefit corrections and updates for US and Canadian payrolls.
• Process garnishments and related payroll tasks.
• Answer data requests and manage Dayforce entries.
• Process final pay for US and Canadian payrolls (state regs).
• Collect final deductions and payout accruals.
• Process deposit rejections and updates for US/Canadian payrolls.

What you will be doing as the Payroll Specialist:

• Own and deliver payroll for domestic and Canadian payroll groups
• Review and processing of payroll adjustment forms for US and Canadian payrolls
• Review and acceptance of employee self-service changes for US and Canadian payrolls
• Review and acceptance of comp/position changes for US and Canadian payrolls
• Review US and Canadian timecards for errors and communicate with management to resolve
• Process benefit corrections and updates for US and Canadian payrolls
• Process garnishments
• Answer data requests
• Add payee to Dayforce
• Apply garnishment to Employee Dayforce file
• Answer debtor information requests
• Setup pay cards
• Process Final pay for US and Canadian payrolls (based on state regs.)
• Collect final deductions
• Payout remaining accruals
• Wire/same day pay for California.
• Run and process concur expense data for US and Canadian payrolls
• Process deposit rejections and updates for US and Canadian payrolls

What you will need as the Payroll Specialist:

• Pref Highschool and 2-4 years of experience in related field.
• Req GED and 2-4 years of experience in related field
