The Workday Global Partner Organization (GPO) is focused on building a vibrant and growing economy with our partners, powered by our technology. The Partner Innovation team within GPO drives innovation within our partner ecosystem, helping partners build and deliver impactful solutions that foster joint success in the Workday Solution Marketplace.About the Role
The Partner Solution Architect provides technical advisory and co-development services to Workday partners, assisting them in designing and building compelling solutions. This team serves as the internal center of excellence for integrations with the Workday Platform, as well as applications developed to run on the Workday Platform through Built on Workday .
We achieve this by reviewing partner-built integrations and supporting partners in developing applications and agents for the marketplace.
The Partner Solution Architect combines the expertise of a software architect, developer, delivery lead, and project manager, helping Workday partners define their initial design, overcome technical roadblocks, and successfully build their solutions. Additionally, this role acts as a liaison to Workday product teams, effectively communicating partners’ technical requirements.
About You
Basic Qualifications
Experience with HR and Finance functional business processes
2+ years of experience designing, building, and troubleshooting software integrations
2+ years of experience with web service technologies (SOAP, REST, JSON, HTTP, and SSL)
2+ years of experience with XML technologies and standards (XML, XSD, XSLT, and XPath)
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Other Qualifications
Direct experience with Workday preferred; experience in the Workday software alliances ecosystem is a plus
Functional industry knowledge within retail, technology, or healthcare
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
A passion for continuous improvement and learning, with a curious and problem-solving mindset
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and individuals at various organizational levels
Experience with Workday Extend or Workday delivery/integration certification preferred
Proven experience in AI and data architecture, with a deep understanding of cloud-based platforms and Hyperscalers and Data Clouds like AWS, GCP, Snowflake and Databricks.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
