90 days Gain full understanding of Next Gen / data centers, growth of AI use to generate electricity for customers 6 months Tangible Wi-Fi stability improvements, consolidations done; telemetry verified; Wi-Fi scorecard published. 9 months Dallas and Ashburn hub wireless delivered on the RNB schedule; runbooks complete. 12 months incident volume down vs. baseline; Chicago and Seattle done; SD-WAN backup coverage in place.

5+ yrs enterprise networking; 3+ yrs primarily Cisco wireless at multi-site scale. Production ownership of Catalyst 9800 controllers (appliance and 9800-CL) not simply AP swaps. Catalyst Center / DNA Center in production: certificates, inventory, provisioning, assurance. Hands‑on Cisco Catalyst SD‑WAN (Viptela): WAN Edge deployment, policy, segmentation. RF design and site surveys (Ekahau or equivalent); independent Cisco TAC case ownership. Current CCNA plus Cisco Certified Specialist Enterprise Wireless; 802.11ax/be, 802.11r/k/v, 802.1X/EAP‑TLS, WPA3; Wireshark and over‑the‑air capture. STRONGLY PREFERRED CCNP Enterprise with wireless concentration (350‑401 ENCOR + 300‑430 ENWLSI or 300‑425 ENWLSD). 300‑415 ENSDWI (Catalyst SD-WAN). CCIE Enterprise Wireless is a differentiator, not required. 300‑715 SISE (ISE) and 300‑410 ENARSI; Python or PowerShell plus REST API automation. SolarWinds telemetry and service‑dashboard construction; Infoblox DNS/DHCP exposure. Wireless in industrial, warehouse, outdoor/yard or data center environments; energy, utilities or other OT‑adjacent setting with strict change control.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
