Job summary

Employvision Inc. is seeking an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Techno-Functional Consultant to bridge business users and the tech team, gathering requirements, configuring EBS modules, and building extensions, reports, interfaces and integrations.

The role covers the full delivery cycle from design and build through testing, go-live and post-production support. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in CS/IS/Finance and 7+ years of Oracle EBS experience, including at least two R12 implementations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Finance or related field.
• 7+ years Oracle EBS experience with at least 2 full lifecycle R12 implementations/upgrades.
• Hands-on functional expertise in at least two EBS modules.
• Strong PL/SQL/SQL with experience in Oracle Reports, BI Publisher and Forms/OAF.
• Solid knowledge of EBS data models, interfaces, public APIs and concurrent programs.
• Experience with data conversion and integration from legacy or third-party systems.
• Familiarity with AIM or OUM documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Run requirement workshops with stakeholders and translate needs into functional design documents (MD.050 / BR.100 or equivalent).
• Configure and support EBS R12 modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, PO, INV, OM, HRMS).
• Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend standard functionality before customization.
• Prepare test scripts and lead SIT and UAT cycles with business users.
• Write user guides and deliver end-user training.
• Design and build RICEW objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions and Workflows.
• Develop in PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher and Forms/OAF.
• Build and maintain inbound/outbound interfaces using open interface tables and public APIs.
• Plan and execute data migration and conversion from legacy systems.
• Write technical design documents and manage code migration across instances.
• Troubleshoot production issues, raise and track Oracle SRs, and apply patches as needed.

Key responsibilities

Functional

• Run requirement workshops with business stakeholders and translate needs into functional design documents (MD.050 / BR.100 or equivalent).
• Configure and support Oracle EBS R12 modules such as Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM), SCM (PO, INV, OM) or HRMS, depending on project scope.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend standard functionality before customization.
• Prepare test scripts and lead SIT and UAT cycles with business users.
• Write user guides and deliver end-user training.

Technical

• Design and build RICEW objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions and Workflows.
• Develop in PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher (XML Publisher) and Oracle Forms/OAF.
• Build and maintain inbound/outbound interfaces using open interface tables and public APIs.
• Plan and execute data migration and conversion from legacy systems.
• Write technical design documents (MD.070) and manage code migration across instances.
• Troubleshoot production issues, raise and track Oracle SRs, and apply patches as needed.
• Estimate effort and track deliverables against EASY Project milestones.
• Work with onshore/offshore teams, DBAs and integration partners.
• Follow change management and documentation standards.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or a related field.
• 7+ years of Oracle EBS experience, including at least 2 full-lifecycle R12 implementations or upgrades.
• Hands-on functional expertise in at least two EBS modules.
• Strong PL/SQL and SQL, with experience in Oracle Reports, BI Publisher and Forms or OAF.
• Solid knowledge of EBS data models, open interfaces, public APIs and concurrent programs.
• Experience with data conversion and integration from legacy or third-party systems.
• Familiarity with AIM or OUM documentation standards.

Preferred qualifications

• Oracle EBS certification (Financials, SCM or Technical).
• Experience with Oracle Workflow and Approvals Management (AME).
• Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOA Suite or other middleware.
• Experience with EBS 12.2 online patching (ADOP) and edition-based redefinition.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP or EBS-to-Cloud coexistence.
