Job summary

EO Solutions ltd. seeks an experienced opto-mechanical engineer to lead architecture, design, analysis, integration, and testing of high-energy laser hardware for defense applications in Huntsville, Alabama.

You will guide development from concept to deployment and collaborate across engineering disciplines. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of relevant experience with optical alignment, tolerance/structural/thermal analysis, CAD, ruggedized integration and hardware

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Optical or related discipline and at least eight years in opto-mechanical engineering or precision optical system design.
• Experience with optical alignment, tolerance and structural/thermal analysis, CAD, ruggedized system integration and hardware testing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

• Lead architecture, design, analysis, integration and testing of precision opto-mechanical hardware for High Energy Laser systems and related defense applications.

Lead the architecture, design, analysis, integration, and testing of precision opto-mechanical hardware for High Energy Laser systems and related defense applications. Guide development from concept through deployment, collaborate across engineering disciplines, support qualification and troubleshooting, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements:

Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related discipline and at least eight years of opto-mechanical engineering or precision optical system design experience. Candidates need expertise in optical alignment, tolerance and structural/thermal analysis, CAD, ruggedized system integration, and hardware testing, and must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
