Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Operational Finance Analyst for a publicly traded aerospace and defense manufacturing client in Stockton, CA. You will own cost and operational analysis for the site, turning production, inventory, and cost data into decisions that improve margin and efficiency on space and defense hardware.

The role requires cost accounting or related experience in manufacturing, a BS in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CMA preferred), and advanced Excel with ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• BS in Accounting/Finance or related field; CPA/CMA preferred.
• Advanced Excel; ERP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs (material, labor, overhead) and identify variances and improvement opportunities.
• Own inventory analysis: valuation, costing methods, policy compliance with supply chain.
• Prepare month-end close entries and COGS reconciliations, including variances.
• Provide cost trend insights to support budgeting and forecasting.
• Partner with operations on cost-control, productivity, and audit support.
