Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Sr. Product Engineer for DRAM Technology Node Development. You will lead cross‑functional teams to drive new process nodes from startup through ramp, delivering world‑class DRAM performance and reliable product launches.

The role emphasizes deep process integration knowledge, data‑driven yield improvement, and collaboration with Design for Test, Quality, and Tech Development to ensure successful deployment across production and customer programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in electrical/computer/materials engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years in DRAM Product Engineering.
  • Familiar with DRAM architecture, operation, testing, and process.
  • Hands-on with R&D and/or HVM cross-functional teams on failure analysis and yield.
  • Strong DRAM test data analysis and root-cause identification.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new process node startup, qualification, yield, and ramp to world-class performance.
  • Guide development teams with deep process integration knowledge.
  • Build and apply feedback measures for new technology implementation.
  • Partner with Build, Technology Development, Design for Test, and Quality teams to prioritize yield issues.
  • Run electrical failure analysis and lift yield through data evaluation and bench testing.

Sr. Product Engineer – DRAM Technology Node Development

As a Sr. Product Engineer in the DRAM Technology Node Development group at Micron, you will be part of an exceptionally dedicated team advancing innovation in DRAM technology. Your role will be critical in developing industry-leading DRAM by building brand new technology from the ground up and collaborating across several departments to ensure flawless product delivery and ramp‑up.

Responsibilities
  • Drive new process node startup, qualification, yield, and ramp to world‑class performance
  • Guide development teams with deep process integration knowledge
  • Build and apply feedback measures for new technology implementation
  • Partner with Build, Technology Development, Design for Test, and Quality teams to prioritize yield issues
  • Run electrical failure analysis and lift yield through data evaluation and bench testing
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, or materials engineering, or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience working on DRAM in a Product Engineering role
  • Familiarity with DRAM architecture, operation, testing, building, and process
  • Hands‑on experience with R&D and/or HVM cross‑functional teams on failure analysis and yield rampli>
  • Strong DRAM test data analysis skills and root‑cause failure mode identification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Problem‑solving and analytical skills using JMP and Python
  • Project management and presentation strengths
  • Clear written and spoken communication
  • Sound decision‑making in complex situations
  • Proficiency with AI tools and understanding of how AI fits into product engineering
