Qualifications

Job description

Develops and implements sales strategies for targeted key accounts within a plan, territory, or specific geographic area. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the product/service line and understands clients' issues and needs. Primarily focuses on acquiring new clients. Typically has at least three years of relevant sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new accounts through direct or brokerage channels.
  • Meet or exceed annual business plans, including new firms, revenue, membership, and profitability targets.
  • Maintain prescribed weekly activity levels.
  • Manage the sales process for Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, and Behavioral health products.
  • Review and respond to RFPs, develop internal strategies, and present quotations.
  • Manage prospect database and coordinate with assigned producers.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of sales experience preferred.
  • Experience in insurance, underwriting, operations, or a proven sales record.
  • 1-2+ years of managed care sales experience.
  • Highly motivated with excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently or collaboratively to achieve goals.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work strategically with matrix partners on presale strategies and proposals.
  • Must obtain necessary licenses.
  • Acceptable driving record.

For remote work, internet connection must be via cable broadband or fiber optic with minimum speeds of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.
