Job summary

Tiro Security seeks a Senior Network Engineer to support network management, cloud administration, and technical support from an onsite location in Orange County, CA, with some hybrid flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT engineering, network administration, or a similar technical role.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Working knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and experience with routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Exposure to virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, especially AWS and Microsoft Azure/M365.

Responsibilities

• Designing, configuring, and maintaining network systems (VLAN, LAN, WAN, remote access).
• Managing servers, workstations, and software applications for performance and security.
• Providing Tier 2 support for hardware and software issues.
• Supporting IT projects including migrations, upgrades, and new tech implementations.
• Maintaining detailed documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
• Coordinating with third‑party vendors for hardware, software, and IT services.
• Monitoring system performance and implementing optimizations for stability and efficiency.
• Contributing to product and technology evaluations, including POC implementations.
• Participating in an on‑call support rotation (evenings and weekends).

Our Client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support initiatives across network management, cloud administration, and technical support. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to high-impact IT projects and ongoing operations within a dynamic and growing organization. The position is based onsite in Orange County, CA, with some hybrid flexibility.

The ideal person will have:
