Job Description

The Systems Engineer Senior IT is responsible for constructing detailed design based on architectural guidance. This position serves as a subject matter expert and performs activities necessary for supporting secured IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

1. Interfacing with Prime teams, vendors, clients, and others for implementation and support of networking products and services.
2. Contributing to Data Center and Enterprise LAN/WAN environments and future infrastructure architecture and support strategy.
3. Designing, engineering, and supporting data center, performance hub, and cloud routing.
4. Collaborating with staff and departments to meet deadlines.
5. Working with IT Security to mitigate vulnerabilities.
6. Documenting network infrastructure changes.
7. Using ITIL processes for change, incident, and problem management.
8. Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience; High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience relevant to the team’s domain.
• 5 years of experience in Network routing/switching technologies.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with WAN technologies, Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ISR/ASR, Arista, BGP.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Technical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PCI).
• Previous healthcare or PBM industry experience.
• ITIL Foundations Certification.

Physical Job Requirements

• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and shifts outside core hours.
• Physical abilities include sitting, using hands, talking, hearing, reaching, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and specific vision capabilities.

Reporting Structure

• Reports to a Manager in the IT department.
