Job Title: Sr Network Engineer/Architect (Remote)

Description

We are seeking a senior network engineer with extensive experience in enterprise-scale network architecture. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the full-time network team, serve as a subject matter expert on network infrastructure, and possess excellent communication skills. They should be capable of driving discussions, making recommendations, providing fresh perspectives, and understanding various viewpoints to deliver optimal solutions or resolve existing issues.

Responsibilities

1. Act as a primary point of contact for the clinical team when needed and represent the infrastructure team as an extension of our staff.
2. Schedule and attend meetings, facilitate discussions to clarify next steps, and document project milestones and deadlines.
3. Follow up regularly with team members to ensure efforts align with milestones, making adjustments and communicating updates as necessary.
4. Present project status updates using PowerPoint or other formats as required.

Skills and Qualifications

• CCIE (Written and Lab) certification required.
• Hands-on experience designing, supporting, and configuring enterprise networking, including Cisco Nexus 7k/9k, Data Center networking, SD-WAN, HPE SDWAN, WAN, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, Cisco DNAC, ASA, Palo Alto, Checkpoint firewalls, Cisco VPN, Cisco Wireless, Network security (segmentation, ISE, etc.), F5 BIG-IP, Cisco VXLAN.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within large enterprise infrastructure.
• Quick learner, self-driven, and adaptable to existing architecture.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours planned work and escalation support.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
