Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support a large healthcare client, focusing on day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and ensuring reliability across LAN, WAN, wireless, and firewall environments onsite with Main Line Health. You will work with Cisco, Aruba, and Palo Alto technologies and automate tasks with Ansible and scripting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting LAN/WAN environments, routing, and switching.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Cisco networking infrastructure.
• Experience supporting Aruba wireless technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience using Ansible for basic network automation and configuration management.
• Basic scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar).
• Experience supporting networking environments during cloud migration or hybrid-cloud initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot the enterprise network across LAN/WAN, wireless, and security domains.
• Perform break-fix, upgrades, and performance optimization tasks.
• Support Cisco, Aruba, and Palo Alto infrastructure in production.
• Automate routine network tasks using Ansible and scripting.
• Contribute to project work including cloud/hybrid migrations and upgrades.

One of Insight Global's largest healthcare clients is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support and maintain a large enterprise network environment. This role is heavily focused on day-to-day network operations, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and ensuring the reliability of critical infrastructure across LAN, WAN, wireless, and firewall environments. The engineer will work with Cisco networking technologies, Aruba wireless solutions, and Palo Alto firewalls to keep production systems running efficiently and securely. Most day to day tasks will involved maintenance, break-fix and upgrade work, as well as ongoing project-based work where extra hands are needed. Candidates should be comfortable automating routine network tasks through Ansible and basic scripting to improve operational efficiency. This is a 6-9 month contract opportunity with potential extensions, requiring onsite presence at Main Line Health approximately 2-3 times per month.
