Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Network Administrator for a direct hire opportunity with a client located in the Camden NJ area. The Sr. Network Administrator is responsible for organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting the network infrastructure. This role involves installing, configuring, and monitoring LANs, WANs, internal and external systems, and multiple network segments. The team manages the entire network infrastructure supporting over 10,000 users across more than 300 international locations, operating 24x7x365.

Salary Range: $100-120k base with a competitive benefits package

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide network engineering and administration for multiple LANs and WANs supporting a 10,000-user environment.
• Offer senior technical support for complex issues within the team and environment.
• Manage performance and capacity planning for all supported platforms, with regular reporting.
• Troubleshoot issues by collaborating with field operations and improve performance.
• Implement new network hardware and technologies, including architecture, configuration, and vendor coordination.
• Identify and lead opportunities for infrastructure improvement.
• Support WAN, LAN, and Wireless (RF) networks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data networks and RF infrastructures.
• Perform service restoration and coordinate with providers for timely resolution.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal and external customers for problem resolution.
• Conduct operational activities like problem management, user assistance, and training.
• Monitor bandwidth and ensure network capacity needs are met.
• Provide off-hours support as needed to maintain service delivery.
• Participate in network design and planning activities.
• Understand customer requirements and plan for capacity needs.
• Stay current with emerging technologies applicable to infrastructure.
• Support and deploy hardware/software, including configuration and upgrades.
• Ensure security guidelines are understood and followed, and assist in security policy development.

Required Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of experience supporting complex campus and datacenter networks.
• 5+ years in a senior role, supporting enterprise firewalls such as Cisco Firepower, Checkpoint, or Palo Alto.
• Experience with Cisco FirePower, network access control solutions like Cisco ISE or Aruba Clearpass.
• Experience with SD-WAN platforms (Velocloud, Viptela, Silverpeak).
• Experience with cloud networking across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell and Python.
• Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation.
• Experience collaborating with telecom vendors.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, Juniper hardware/software; monitoring tools like Solarwinds, PRTG; routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF); QoS for voice/video/data.
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as storage, databases, Linux, Windows Server.
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills on multiple projects.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; certifications like CCNP, JNCIP or equivalent are desirable.
