ONSITE Sr. Model-Based Systems Design Engineer (MBSE) in South Orange County, CA

Preferred exp w/Ground Systems, and/or related MOSA, SOSA, FACE systems

MUST have an active Secret or higher DoD clearance with a U.S. CITIZENSHIP

Requirements

• MSCS/BSCS, MSME, BSME or related degree
• 3-7 years exp with MBSE CAMEO/MagicDraw or related Rhapsody, SparxEA, etc.
• Exp with Ground Systems is of great interest to them
• Experience with Digital Engineering workflows and Integrated Modeling Environments (i.e. Teamwork Cloud)
• Exp with Systems Engineering, Requirements Elicitation and Management, Integration, and Test Activities on complex systems - DoD Weapon Systems, Space, Aerospace Systems, etc.

Highly Preferred

• Basic understanding of modular open systems approaches (MOSA) in defense systems
• Familiarity with algorithm design and implementation for autonomous systems
• Familiarity with one or more Gov’t Reference Architectures (GRAs)
• Exp working on autonomous systems
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and their application in GRAs
• Knowledge of FACE (Future Airborne Capability Environment) Technical Standard
• Understanding of SOSA (Sensor Open Systems Architecture) aligned systems
• Mission Modeling exp: working knowledge of OCA/DCA, ISR, SEAD/DEAD, Electronic Attack, or Integrated Fire Control missions
