Hourly base pay rate is $31.49 - $47.26/hour. The hourly base rate may vary based on location, skills, and experience. Position may be eligible for additional compensation such as commissions or incentives.

Headquartered in Indianapolis, Fleet Services is one of the largest fleet maintenance companies nationwide, providing on-site mobile maintenance for light to heavy-duty trucks and trailers, along with services at over 50 nationwide service centers.

We are hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician. The role involves licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and serving as a lead on job sites. The technician will also act as a consultant for customers and ensure compliance with all policies and performance metrics.

DUTIES:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on various vehicles.
• Conduct minor adjustments and repairs on truck systems including electrical, brake, cooling, and engine components.
• Diagnose malfunctions using test instruments and road test vehicles.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain company-issued service vehicle.
• Document work performed accurately and upload pictures using company tools.
• Complete DOT and other documentation timely.
• Work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with management and clients.
• Use tools and equipment safely and maintain the service vehicle.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possess necessary hand tools.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) and 608/609 certifications within 18 months.
• Pass DOT physical and background screening; hold valid driver’s license.

CERTIFICATIONS (Required within 18 months):

• ASE T8 (PMI)
• ASE 608/609

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS:

• ASE T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, A8, L1, L2
