Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Texas is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements, troubleshoot production issues, and support new product introductions, contributing to efficient, high-quality output. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply MES and Lean principles, and write/modify machining programs to optimize tooling and fixtures for scale-up.

A technical degree with 5+ years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical discipline or machining apprenticeship completed.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing engineering or technician roles.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, QC, and process improvement.
• Proficiency with CAD, SPC, and root cause analysis techniques.
• Experience with MES and familiarity with Lean Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will impact the manufacturing operations by driving process improvements, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting new product introductions, thereby contributing to Honeywell's commitment to delivering high-quality products efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing engineering activities including process development, validation, and improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing process issues to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and manufacturing scale-up.
• Write programs for new parts and modify programs for existing parts to improve machining.
• Selection of tooling for machining and fixtures/gauging for inspection.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Associate's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics or completion of a machining apprentice program
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or manufacturing technician roles.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and process improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing engineering tools such as CAD software, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis techniques.
• Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
