We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience to grow their career with us. P2S has been awarded 'Best Place to Work' for 15 consecutive years.

The position is based in Irvine, CA, or Long Beach, CA, with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 remote). Salary range: $150,000 - $183,000. This is a senior-level role.

Responsibilities

• Perform work involving HVAC, medical gas, plumbing design engineering
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams of engineers and designers
• Manage all project phases from proposal to construction completion
• Handle budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, and specification writing

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer License
• Knowledge of HCAI codes, FGI Guidelines, NFPA-99
• Ability to present complex engineering concepts to clients and team members

Working Knowledge

• 10+ years of mechanical design experience in consulting engineering
• Strong HVAC design skills in healthcare, federal, higher education, aviation, or waterfront projects
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
• Organizational skills, creativity, self-motivation
• Client relationship management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
