Position Details:

• Location: Long Beach
• Employment Type: Full-time, Hybrid Schedule (3 days in-office / 2 remote)
• Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000
• Level: Mid to Senior

Responsibilities:

The candidate will primarily work on projects related to public and private universities, including support buildings such as central plants and data centers. Responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, energy audits, and managing all project phases from proposal to construction completion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineering License preferred
• Ability to present complex concepts clearly to clients and team members
• Project management experience is a plus

Working Knowledge:

• 5-10 years of engineering design and project management experience
• Strong mechanical/HVAC design skills
• Effective communication skills
• Experience with load modeling and hydronic simulation software (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills and client relationship management
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook
