Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer/Dept. Head to lead engineering efforts on hybrid schedule in the Baltimore area. The role requires PE licensure, 12-15+ years of AEC experience, and strong design/documentation skills using REVIT.

You will manage projects, mentor teams, and ensure quality across mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems while balancing client needs with firm growth and a collaborative, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 12–15+ years of AEC experience preferred.
• 2–3+ years of leadership experience.
• PE Licensed Required.
• REVIT proficiency required.
• Strong design and documentation experience.
• Expert knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering.
• Excellent project, people, and time management skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, leadership and attention to detail skills.
