Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer/Dept. Head in Washington, DC for a hybrid, permanent position. The candidate will lead the Mechanical Department, drive MEP design for commercial, healthcare, and government projects, and mentor team members through complex projects.

Required: 12-15+ years AEC experience, PE license, REVIT proficiency, and strong leadership, communication, and project-management skills. Employee ownership, bonuses and flexible schedules are offered.

Qualifications

• 12-15+ years of AEC experience preferred.
• PE licensed is required.
• Strong design and documentation experience in mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Excellent leadership, time management and collaboration skills.
• Experience with complex commercial, healthcare or government projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mechanical Department and mentor project teams.
