Job summary

SpaceXSI is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our data center engineering team in Memphis, TN. You will design, build, and activate advanced data center facilities, serving as the SME for fluid/HVAC components such as chillers, pumps, and heat exchangers across data center builds.

You will perform CAD modeling, fluid analyses, and coordinate with procurement and other disciplines to meet timelines and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of experience with valves, pumps, heat exchangers, sensors.

Responsibilities

• Own and be SME on fluid/HVAC components across data center builds.
• Perform CAD modeling and 3D deconfliction with other disciplines.
• Conduct fluid analyses for pressure balance and component design.
• Coordinate with procurement/construction to select and procure equipment.
• Ensure manufacturability and reliability; enable smooth transition to manufacturing.
