Job summary

SpaceXSI in Memphis, TN seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design, analyze and validate data center fluid and HVAC systems. You will model components and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet aggressive build timelines.

Required: a Bachelor’s in engineering, a PE license, and 10+ years with valves, pumps and heat exchangers. Proficiency with REVIT and CAD, plus data-acquisition tools, is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 10+ years of experience with fluids components such as valves, pumps, COPVs, compressors, heat exchangers, pressure transducers, or temperature sensors.

Responsibilities

• Own and be SME on fluid/HVAC components across data center builds.
• Perform CAD modeling and design in 3D; deconflict with other disciplines.
• Perform fluid analyses for pressure balance and component design.
• Coordinate with procurement, construction and other disciplines for equipment.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable and transition smoothly to manufacturing.
