Job summary

SpaceXSI in the United States is seeking a Mechanical Engineer, Data Center Infrastructure to design, build, and activate advanced facilities and data centers. You will own fluid/HVAC systems, perform CAD modeling, and drive reliability across campus.

You will collaborate with facility engineers and internal customers, perform fluid analyses, select equipment, and lead root-cause investigations to reduce downtime while delivering scalable, safe infrastructure for space-driven programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience with fluid components such as valves, pumps, COPVs, compressors, heat exchangers, transducers, or sensors.

Responsibilities

• Own fluid/HVAC components across the site.
• Perform CAD modeling and design of these systems.
• Perform fluid analyses for pressure balance and component design.
• Own maintenance and reliability of critical infrastructure assets and implement predictive maintenance.
• Equipment selection, sizing, and procurement support.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
