Job summary

engineeringjobs.net, Inc. seeks a lead mechanical engineer to design, model, and integrate aerospace test equipment, including fluid systems, refrigeration and environmental controls for control cabinets.

You will conduct design reviews, troubleshoot failures and leaks, collaborate with electrical engineering teams, and mentor other engineers. Domestic and international travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 6–12 years of mechanical design/engineering experience.
• Advanced SolidWorks skills and expertise in fluid power systems and pump sizing.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Familiarity with quality standards, simulation tools, and LabVIEW‑controlled hardware preferred.

Conduct design reviews, troubleshoot failures and leaks, collaborate with electrical engineering teams, and mentor other engineers.

Requirements:

Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 6-12 years of mechanical design or engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or test equipment. Candidates need advanced SolidWorks skills, expertise in fluid power systems and pump sizing, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally; familiarity with quality standards, simulation tools, and LabVIEW-controlled hardware is preferred.
